Datsun launches Redi–Go in Goa

AM Ventures, the dealers for Nissan – Datsun in Goa, introduced the new entry level hatchback the Redi – Go in the Goan market priced at Rs. 2.49 lakhs (Ex showroom-Goa). The car is available in 5 variants – D, A, T, T(O) and S.

Built on the same Common Modular Platform CMF-A as the Renault Kwid, the Redi–Go has a tall crossover like styling and looks promising. The Datsun redi-GO showcases YUKAN Japanese design philosophy– which stands for brave and bold.

The stylish design elements like the hexagonal grille, pulled back headlamps, LED day time running lights strips, high set taillamps and bumper reflectors make it look like it belongs to a higher segment than it is.

It features ‘Tall-Boy’ styling and offers best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm. The Datsun redi-GO will be available in five attractive body colour options – White, Silver, Grey, Ruby and Lime.

The dashboard has a simple design; the instrument cluster receives blue illumination, while the music system is a simple single din audio system while the round a/c vents get a chrome ring round them.

Powering the Redi–Go is a 0.8 litre three cylinder petrol engine developing the same power as in the Kwid and comes mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The redi-GO delivers a fuel economy of 25.17 kmpl. Max power is 54 Ps @ 5678 rpm and max torque is 72 @ 4386 rpm.

The Datsun redi-GO comes with an attractive 2 year/unlimited kilometres standard warranty. It also comes with another exciting segment-first – an optional warranty for 2 or 3 years/unlimited kilometres with free roadside assistance. Owners also get the option of up to 5 years/unlimited kilometres warranty coverage.

The company is also offering 50 accessories and five personalized kit options – Urban, Style, Kool, Easy Kit- enhance style and Easy Kit.

AM Ventures currently has a 3S facility in Nagoa Verna and a sales outlet next to Teen building Porvorim.
