Bajaj auto which is enjoying sales growth mainly due to Discover 100 and Pulsar 135 is planning to launch Avenger 220. Bajaj Auto has stopped the production of Avenger 200.
Avenger could get the DTS-I 220 engine from the Pulsar. Currently Bajaj has stopped bookings for the Avenger 200.
Avenger was launched as Kawasaki Eliminator with a 175cc engine. This was then replaced as Avenger 180. Avenger was again re-launched by Bajaj as Avenger 200.
