Bajaj Platina ComforTec to target long distance commuter segment.

Bajaj Motorcycles India has launched a new variant of its best selling Platina motorcycle in Goa badged as the Platina Comfortec which stands for enhanced comfort and comes with 20% jerk free riding experience designed to give the Indian customer a much more pleasurable and  comfortable riding experience.

Platina ComforTec exclusive feature list includes 28% longer travel for the shock absorber thus giving a smoother ride over bumps and broken patches of road, spring soft seat to cater to longer riding experience, rubber footpads and extra long double spring rear suspension.

Powering the ComforTec is a 102cc, single cylinder, air cooled, 4 stroke DTS–i engine producing 8.2 PS of power @ 7500 rpm and 8.6 Nm of torque mated to a 4 speed gearbox.

Bajaj has enhanced the mileage of the motorcycle and it now returns 104 kmpl thus making it the most fuel efficient bike in the segment.

The Platina ComforTec is offered in 3 exciting paint shades Red, Black and Blue.

The motorcycle is also claimed to be returning 65% less maintenance, 5000 kms service interval and an annual oil change of 10,000 kms.

The Commuter motorcycle is available in two variants, namely Platina ComforTec Alloy KS priced at Rs. 42,321 and Alloy ES priced at Rs. 44,334 (ex showroom Goa).
