Ford India which saw sales surge in the last months witness a drop in sales. Ford India reported 12.79% decline in domestic sales in May at 7,046 units. It had posted sales of 8,080 units in the same month last year.
The company sold a total of 51,420 units, including exports, in the January-May 2011 period, a growth of 71% compared to the same period a year ago.
Ford will launch the all new Fiesta in July which is going to come with a host of new first in segment features.
