Goa Tourism to add double decker buses for site seeing.
Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has been launching new and innovative services to promote tourism in the state of Goa – like Hot Air Ballooning, Cruises, Amphibious vehicle, motorized paragliding and many more.
Adding to the list of tourism services will soon be the new double decker bus with open roof for site seeing. GTDC has ordered 2 buses which on their way and will be inducted in service very soon.
The Double Decker buses are built on Ashok Leyland Lynx Chassis. The Buses can easily accommodate over 60 passengers and will be put into operation soon considering the tourist season has already begun. the buses have already left the factory where they were manufactured.
We can expect the buses to be driven on only certain routes which will be decided by GTDC. The Bus drive will be fun especially when travelling along the coastal and village routes where one will get to see the beautiful part
of Goa.
The biggest challenge will be the heat and humidity.
We believe the best time could be early morning or late evenings after 5:30 PM.
