Hero MotoCrop launched the Maestro Edge scooter in Goa. Hero which has a decent market share in Goa and new products in the scooter segment will help to further strengthen their position.
Hero recently unveiled two new scooters – Maestro Edge and Duet in the capital city in September. Built on a completely new engine and chassis platform, the ‘Maestro Edge’ demonstrates the passion for technology and innovation at Hero MotoCorp.
The scooters are making market entry within two years of being showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, further reaffirming the company’s strong focus on developing new products that cater to a global audience.
The Maestro Edge is a premium product making a bold statement with its dynamic design and features and is powered by new 110cc engine which has been developed in house.
The Maestro Edge boasts of several new features like twin parking lamp, remote fuel lid, mobile charging port & boot light, integrated braking system, LED tail lamps, Immobilizer (anti-theft system) and digi-analogue dashboard.
The ‘Maestro Edge’ made its global debut recently in Colombia (named Dash for that market), during the inauguration of Hero’s first overseas manufacturing facility.
The Maestro Edge is launched at a starting price of Rs. 50,500 (Ex-showroom Goa) for the LX version and Rs. 52,000 (Ex-showroom Goa) for the VX version.
