Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched their latest offering the new CB Hornet 160R in the Goan market. Honda first showcased the CB Hornet 160R at the Revfest which was held in various cities in India.
The Honda CB Hornet 160R replaces the slow selling CB Trigger which was in the market for short span of time.
The CB Hornet 160R features a fresh new design squarely aimed to target the new gen buyer.
The motorcycle features stylish headlamps with faux air vents and chiselled fuel tank, with the fuel tank extensions; lend a very muscular appeal to this bike. The X shaped tail lamp does grab a lot of attention. The highlights are twin pilot lamps on the headlights, Stylish 5 – spoke Alloy wheels, Split grab rail, Dual tone paint scheme, Black cladding on fuel tank and a Digital speedometer.
The CB Hornet 160R is powered by a single cylinder 163cc engine which produces 15.67 bhp and peak torque of 14.76 Nm mated to a 5 speed manual transmission coupled to Honda’s Eco Technology which will help boost fuel economy. The motorcycle returns ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 58.95 kmpl.
CB Hornet 160R’s engine is equipped with a counter balancer to reduce the vibrations produced in engine. It delivers a smooth acceleration from low RPM to high RPM. Powered by the revolutionary HET BS-IV (Honda Eco Technology), the long stroke engine is tuned to deliver extra torque & super mileage.
The CB Hornet is also the first motorcycle in the Indian market to meet BS-IV norms well ahead of April 2017-regulation timeline.
