Isuzu have introduced a new automatic variant of the MU-7 SUV in the Indian market. The MU-7 SUV was initially launched with a manual transmission only. With demand for Automatic SUV’s growing steadily the Japanese car maker wants to target customers who want a big SUV and ease of driving mainly in the city conditions.
The company has also added more equipment to the SUV and now comes with new 3 spoke steering wheel with audio controls, 2 tone dashboard with high gloss lacquer finished wood trim, new Kenwood 6015 BT music system with satellite navigation and rear parking sensors in addition to rear view camera which is synchronised with the touch screen display.
Under the hood the MU-7 is powered by a 3.0 diesel engine which develops 163PS of max power and 333 Nm of max torque from 1600-3200 rpm. The manual variant offers 360 Nm of max torque from 1800-2800 rpm.
