Jaguar XF with minor masking caught testing in UK. Is this the XFR-S variant?

Jaguar has been planning a monstrous version of the XF: XFR-S.

The XFR-S has been caught testing in UK several times. Thanks to our fan Shaun, who caught the XF with minimal camouflage testing on the streets of Coventry close to the JLR plan in UK. The XF caught testing had large 10 spoke alloy wheels and with large dams in front.

The Jag XFR-S is expected to be powered by the same supercharged 542bhp (550Ps) V8 engine which also does duty on the brutal XKR-S coupe. The car will be unveiled at the Los Angeles motor show in November and will go on sale in 2013. The XFR-S will give Jaguar a more potent rival to the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.

In India, Jaguar currently retails the XF and XFR with a choice 3 engines: 3.0 Litre V6 Diesel, 5.0 Litre V8 Supercharged Petrol & .0 Litre V8 Naturally Aspirated Petrol. The latter, which is equipped on the XFR and produces 510PS of max power and 625Nm of Torque which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
