India’s largest car maker launched a new variant ‘Vxi ‘of its bestselling car the Alto 800.The new variant is priced at Rs. 3.25 lakhs (Non-Metalic) and Rs. 3.28 lakhs (Metallic) ex-showroom Goa.
The Vxi trim is offered with additional features like:
- Music system with USB
- Two front speakers
- 12 Volt Power Socket
- Central locking
- Side moulding
- Rear Roof Spoiler
- Rear Parcel Tray
- Internally adjustable left hand side wing mirror
- Driver airbag as standard
In Goa the Alto 800 is available in four variants: STD, LX, LXi and VXi. In select markets the car is also available with a CNG fuel option.
The Alto 800 is powered by the good old revamped 796cc-3 cylinder F8 petrol engine which develops 48 Ps of power and max torque of 69 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gear box with Cable Type Gear Shift. One can choose between six colour options.
The new Alto 800 has been a good seller and will now lure more prospective buyers of Eon from Hyundai.
