Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the premium new S-Cross crossover tomorrow. Nexa dealerships have started accepting pre-launch bookings for the S-Cross at an amount of Rs. 11,000.

Power for the S-Cross will be from two engine options 200 DDiS engine, producing 90 PS and is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox, returning 23.65 kmpl. This engine will be available in four variants 1.3L Sigma [O], 1.3L Delta, 1.3L Zeta and 1.3L Alpha.

For the first in India, the S-Cross will also be powered by  the new 320 DDiS 1.6L engine with Variable Geometry turbo producing 118 PS and is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox, returning an efficiency of 22.7 kmpl.

The S-Cross gets a chrome front grille, black cladding, front and back silver skid plates, the headlamps get LED Drls and projector headlamps.

The S-Cross gets an all-black theme with silver accents to add to the premium appeal, the top models of the S Cross also get Smart play infotainment system, Push button start/stop, Electrically folding ORVMS, Automatic climate control, rear centre armrest and rear parcel tray. Maruti will also offer a driver airbag on the base variant, and get noteworthy features such as ABS, Dual Airbags, and all wheel disc brakes, LED Positioning Lamps, Leather Seat Upholstery, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, HID-Projector Headlamps, Rain Sensing Wiper, Auto Dimming Inside Rear View Mirror, Automatic Headlamps, Engine Push Start/Stop Button, Cruise Control, Navigation System, Voice Command, Automatic AC and 16-inch Alloy Wheels.

The New S-Cross will be available in 8 variants and two engine options.

Goa launch could happen after a couple of weeks as the NEXA dealerships are not yet operational.
