India’s largest maker is upbeat on the festive and expects the sales to be very positive. Thanks to the all new Alto 800 which has managed to get 21,200 bookings within a week of launch. The company has already managed to sell 7000 cars since launch.
Before launch the company gather 10,000 pre-bookings which show the trust customers have in the brand. Maruti is aggressively marketing the car and also allowed the online media to test the car before launch.
For the rural market, the company has been holding over mega camps where its vehicles are displayed and customers can come and buy off the shelf.
The company also managed to set a record by delivering 200 new Alto 800’s in a single day. The car has received many new features and also a considerable amount of tweaking to the platform.
The new Alto 800 delivers an outstanding fuel efficiency of 22.74kmpl. It comes with a new Wavefront design, fresh interiors, an airbag option, superior powertrain, more interior space and CNG variants.
