Mercedes-Benz India to hike prices across model range starting April 1, 2013

Mercedes-Benz India announced a price increase across model range starting April 1, 2013. The recent increase in duty structure has affected the prices. The model range will now be dearer by 1-4% for locally produced models; and price increase upto 20% for select CBU’s.

The company recently rolled out its campaign “Merconomics“, to ensure the most optimum cost of ownership in the luxury automotive domain.

Mercedes-Benz also launched the G 63 AMG in India and will launch a slew of models and variants in the next two years. The GL Class will hit the Indian roads by Mat 2013 followed by the A-Class in June-July.

Another important model will be the new E-Class which may be launched in India in September.
