Nissan to launch new Micra soon

New Micra

Nissan India will launch the facelifted Micra soon in the Indian market. The company has updated the Micra website with a teaser image and we could expect the launch in the first week of July.

The face lifted Micra gets a comprehensive update on the outside and inside. Nissan has dumped the Thai styling Micra for the Indian market and is offering a more contemporary look which will also be sold in the European markets.

In terms of power trains the hatch will be offered with the same power trains and gets a new CVT Automatic transmission which is currently offered on the Sunny.

In terms of styling the Micra gets new headlamps, grille and front bumper which gives the car a more macho and masculine look as compared to the previous feminine and rounded look. On the rear, the car gets LED tail lamps and redesigned bumper.

On the inside the car offers a lot more changes with a new glossy black centre console, new interior colours and upholstery.

Overall the facelift gives the Micra a fresh new beginning and will appeal to more buyers.

The official launch date has not announced and we could expect the same to happen most probably in the first week of July.
