R U ready to race the KTM Duke 390?

KTM 390 Duke Abs 2013: One For All. Say the KTM India website. The Austrian motorcycle maker has big plans for the Indian markets along with its partner Bajaj. The Duke 390 is planned for end 2012 or early 2013 launch.

The Duke 390 based  around the Duke 200 and will be available as a naked bike. The 390 Duke has everything that distinguishes a genuine KTM – from the high-quality chassis components to the multi-function cockpit.

The gathered sitting position supports relaxed touring, alone or two-up, equally as well as committed cornering. The tank get a sharp design and has a capacity of 11 litres. The company promises high fuel efficiency with the intricate design engine, state-of-the-art injection electronics mated to a six-speed transmission. The engine delivers a punchy 44 hp. Braking is taken care by Bosch 9M ABS along with a four-piston calliper and 300 mm disc diameter Brembo brakes.

The Duke 390 gets pside-down fork from WP Suspension and all the components are bolted upon a lightweight tubular space frame with proven KTM design chassis. 17in cast light alloy wheels are fitted with grippy Metzeler tyres – 110 mm wide at the front and an impressive 150 mm at the rear.
