Renault Lodgy Stepway world edition drives into Goa

Priority Automobiles the dealers for Renault in Goa has launched the new Lodgy World Edition in Goa.

The World Edition gets 25 new features, and is available on the top end Stepway variant with both 7 and 8 seater options and is powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine in two states of tune.

Based on the Premium Stepway variant, the World Edition the Stepway inspired front grille along with a rugged body kit, rear spoiler, printed matte and shiny black stripping for the B and C pillars and World edition badges and graphics. The World Edition rides on new design 15 inch Dark Metal finish Alloy wheels.

Step into the interior and the immediate sense that you get is, the dash and interior layout is the same as the standard Lodgy Stepway, but you do get the cool looking Orange and Chrome rings for the Instrument Cluster rings while the Air con vent get Orange rings, Renault has also thrown in new premium fabric seat upholstery and door trims and World Edition badge on the Steering wheel indicating that this is a special Lodgy variant.

Features list on the Lodgy World Edition include Roof mounted 2^nd and 3^rd row Smart sense A/C, 2 din audio system with CD, Bluetooth, Aux – in and USB, Electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, front and rear power socket and a maximum boot space of 1861 litres.

Safety wise the Lodgy World Edition is packed with features such as Anti-lock braking system, Electronic brake distribution with brake assist and a driver airbag.

Power for the Lodgy World Edition comes from the familiar 1.5 litre Dci (Common Rail Direct injection) diesel engine producing 110 PS of power and 245nm of torque at 1750 rpm, transmitted via a 6 speed manual gearbox. The 1.5 litre diesel returns a company claimed mileage of 19.98 kmpl

The lesser powered 1.5 litre motor produces 85 PS of power and 200 nm of torque at 1900 rpm, with power transmitted through a 5 manual gearbox and an ARAI rated efficiency of 21.04 kmpl.
