Toyota has started accepting bookings for the Etios. The dealers are charging Rs. 50,000 and accepting the bookings. The launch will take place on the 9th of September with the Liva being launched ahead of the Sedan. The Liva will get a 1.2 litre diesel heart and will have good performance figures.
The Liva diesel will have to fight the new Swift Diesel, Tata Indica Vista, Nissan Micra, Skoda Fabia and the VW Polo. The pricing will play a very important role and we expect it to be around Rs. 1 lakh higher as compared to its petrol counterpart.
