Volkswagen ne small car the Up was spotted in India while being transported on a flat bed truck. However India will not get the 3 door version instead the 5 door Up with a 1.2 litre petrol engine will make it to our country. The car is expected to take on the Hyundai i10 and the Maruti Wagon R and will also help VW to reach larger masses.
Volkswagen will display the car at the 2012 Auto Expo and could hit the Indian streets in 2013-14.
VW will tune to the engine to get max fuel efficiency and the car will could also see a smaller 1 litre engine with 65-70 ps of power.
