Yamaha Riders Club rides to GOA!!!

Yamaha Riders Club (YRC) India has been planning a ride to GOA from the day the club was formed. Finally after YRC spread to Pune, Chennai , the group decided to make it the annual ride of YRC India. Later things got more interesting when GEARS agreed to play the host for the event.

Riding 600 odd kms to GOA and to enjoy the paradise with our beautiful machines is a great feeling. A group of 7 bikers form Bangalore and 5 from Mangalore and few more from various parts of India meeting up at a place and having the same common passion called Biking and YAMAHA!

This is our first attempt to get Yamaha Riders in India together to learn, share and talk about the brand that we so much admire.

There is no major brief of the ride but the idea is to meet up in Margao Bus Station and ride all around Goa to places we should visit. GEARS is planning up the whole thing for us. It’s Goa, and hence we decided to leave the planning to people who know it well.

Good Ride, Good Riders, Good Food, Good Beaches and new friends is what we plan to achieve in this ride of ours.

As I said before, the whole plan is to go with the flow and I am sure we will ride back to Bangalore with a smile after living Goa in the Yamaha way.

This is the plan for the ride day, “Starting point of the ride (25Nov2012): Margao Bus Terminal (Link for the location http://goo.gl/maps/57jhQ) at 0900 hrs.

We ride through the day catching up with good roads, great beaches and  wonderful food. We would head towards Siolim where we will catch up lunch after touching upon Panjim and Mapusa. Plans beyond  that is open depending on the way we proceed. It’s Goa after all guys. What’s the use of having a time table 🙂 and also add this “Mandatory Requirement:

– A Yamaha bike. Exception to our hosts. GEARS.

– All documents like Insurance, Smart Card and Driving License in place

– Basic riding gear which at least includes a helmet, proper shoes, full pant and a jacket. Armored Jacket, Gloves and Knee guard is encouraged.

– Pillions, if any, will also have to stick to the basic riding gear requirements. Armored Jacket, Gloves and Knee guard is recommended.

Note : This is an independent event not “owned” by anyone. We do not take responsibility of any uncalled for incidents during the tenure of the event.”

The over all ride to Goa is from 24th Nov to 27th Nov. 25th Nov is an important day as we will be riding with GEARS and the group members.
