Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is planning to launch a bike in the 100cc segment. Honda Motor which parted away from the 26 year JV with Hero wants enter the mass segment and will launch a new 100cc bike to take on the Bajaj Discover and Hero Honda Splendor& Passion.
Honda which aims to be the market leader by 2015 will launch new models in both the motorcycle and scooter segment.
The company is building a new plant in Rajasthan which will be operational by July and is also scouting for a new facility to keep up to the demand.
