Nissan India will launch a special edition of the trail SUV in order to commemorate the launch of the X-Treme Trail documentary reality show on the National Geographic channel.
There will be no changes under the hood and the X-trail special edition will be fitted with additional features. The Nissan X-Trail continues is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, diesel engine that produces 150 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 320 Nm of torque at 2000 RPM mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox option.
The X-Trail is available in three variants – LE, SLX MT and SLX AT.
