Volvo has launched an updated version of its S80 for the Indian market. The new S80 will cost Rs. 38.79 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and Rs. 37 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The New Volvo S80 comes with a hgh-performance, twin-turbo diesel that puts out 205 hp and 420 Nm of torque.
The car has been developed entirely in-house by Volvo and is Euro 5 compliant. Volvo claims a fuel efficiency figure of 13.09 kpl. The new S80 sports dual tail pipes that lend it a sportier look. It also comes equipped with a Dolby Prologic II Dynaudio music system, rear seat entertanment, and a personal car communicator.
In terms of safety, the S80 comes with Intelligent Driver Information System, Adaptive Brake Lights, Ready Alert Brakes – which further reduce braking distance during an emergency, Dynamic Stablity Traction Control, Whplash Protection System and Side Impact Protection System.
The S80 is available in nine colour options.
