Chevrolet Beat LPG is caught testing in Pune which had come for homologation tests. Chevrolet may launch the Beat before year end.
Recently Maruti Suzuki announced a series of alternate fuel option cars for India. Chevrolet may have scrapped its plan for electric spark, but surely launch cars with alternate fuel option.
Chevrolet Beat is already doing good numbers and with the LPG option surely it will attract more buyers.
This LPG version Beat will be fitted with the latest LPG kit and GM claims there will be no drop in power when the car shifts from petrol to gas mode or vice versa owing to the latest sequential injection technique. The Beat LPG should hit the market in 2 – 3 months time.
