Chevrolet India who launched the Beat LPG a few days back is testing the Beat Diesel. Our Goa On Wheels correspondent from Bangalore Chetan Kumar caught the Beat diesel being tested in Bangalore.
Chevrolet India will launch the Beat diesel in the month of June, but when we enquired to a dealer said that the vehicle may come than expected.
The diesel engine for the new variant would be manufactured from their Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
The Beat will get a 3 cylinder 1 litre diesel heart. GM is banking hard on the Beat to push sales.

honey i spied it u cant escape from my eyes, yup i spied the peppy diesel chevy beat , which will be the smallest first diesel launch in INDIA ,i believe it will have an amazing fuel efficiency and may be the first in class , even there are other manufacturers trying to launch 1 liter diesel engines like hyundai i10 but no sign of them, but chevy is gonna beat it first, waiting for the launch !
