Suzuki Motorcycle India have launched the new updated Gixxer range and Access 125 in Goa. The new updates come in the form of new BSIV engine and automatic headlamp.
Both the Gixxer SF and the Naked street fighter have received updates. The 2017 Gixxer range receives updates such as Automatic headlamp on option, new sporty graphics and clear lens indicators, clear lens LED taillamps, aluminium muffler cover, mantainence free 12V 3AH battery, digital instrument console with gear shift indicator, shift light and electric start while on the SF, the same changes are available but with a new Gixxer SF logo.
The Gixxer is available in disc and drum variants, while the SF is offered in both carburated and fuel injection as well.
The Gixxer range benefits from a new 154.9cc, single cylinder SOHC engine capable of 14.5 bhp at 8,000rpm and 14nm of torque at 6,000 rpm with the power being transferred to the wheels through a 5 speed gearbox. Mileage figures for the Gixxer range records 54kmpl for the regular Gixxer, while the SF returns 50 kmpl.
Suzuki has also updated the Access 125 scooter with a BSIV engine and automatic headlamp. The company has also introduced a new colour namely Sonic Silver metallic colour and is available in both disc and drum brake variant.
