Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India announced its global unveiling of the brand new H’ness – CB350. Built with 9 new patent applications, H’ness – CB350 is the 3rd BSVI model in the Honda’s BigWing portfolio – its exclusive Premium Bike vertical.

Making a grand entry in the mid-size 350-500cc motorcycle segment

The H’ness (pronounced as Highness) will be Honda’s attempt to directly rival Royal Enfiled which rules the 350-500cc cruiser segment in the Indian market. It will also offer some stiff competition to the likes of JAWA which made its entry in 2019 and Benelli Imperiale 400. The segment will also see launches from Bajaj with higher-powered Avengers or may use a different brand name.

With the H’ness, the Japanese two-wheeler maker reaffirms its commitment to the Indian market and hopes to win a larger pie of the premium motorcycle market which the company has been struggling in the past few years.

First In segment features

Honda has ensured their cruiser will offer a lot more features compared to its rivals and comes with segment 1st features like:

  1. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
  2. Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS)
  3. Assist & Slipper Clutch
  4. Advanced Digital-Analogue Speedometer displays real-time advanced information
  5. Full LED Setup (front headlamps & rear tail light)

Specifications

The new cruiser will be powered by a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with PGM-FI technology that produces 20.8 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle features wide section rear tyre (130/70-18), dual disc brakes with dual channel ABS, Engine Start/Stop Switch, Hazard Switch and a 15 litre fuel tank.

The H’Ness will be available in 2 variants DLX and DLX Pro.
