Maruti Suzuki will soon launching the Alto with BSIV complaint engine. The New alto does not get the popular K-Series engine but a tweaked F8D engine which meets BSIV emission norms.
The New Alto has a new and improved Catalytic Converter which makes it less polluting and environment friendly. It gets a new and improved Engine Management System (EMS), with and Improved mileage of 19.7 km/l and faster acceleration: 0-100 in 17.7 seconds. This makes Alto the car having highest Fuel efficiency in A2 and higher segment cars.
Some new features are:
Front seats like the i10 or A-Star with integrated headrest
New Tail lamps
Sticker badging at the rear
New wheel rims
2 tone Dashboard
New speedometer with Digital fuel gauge
Electronic Power Steering – EPS
Brake Booster
Heater, Ventilator Air Conditioner – HVAC
Engine Immobilizer
Tubeless Radial Tyres – 145/80 R 12
