Ford India made it official about discontinuing the Ikon in India. Ford which launched the Ikon in India in 1999 finally said bye bye with the launch of the Fiesta Classic.
With the introduction of BS4 emission norms Ford did not upgrade the petrol Ikon and was only available in Tier 2 & 3 cities.
Ford Ikon was available in petrol and diesel engine options and was one of the best handling car in India when launched.
