India Yamaha Motor (IYML) has discontinued the production of the 106cc Alba and G5, and the 124cc Gladiator motorcycles since April this year. The company has decided to not update these models to the new Bharat Stage III emission norms, largely owing to low demand. It has, instead, replaced the three bikes with new products in the segment.
3 new bikes
Yamaha has launched the 153cc SZ and SZ-X at Rs. 49,000 and Rs. 52,000, respectively, and the 125cc YBR at Rs. 47,000.
