We just reported about the launch of the all new CR-V which is to happen on the 12th of February, and we have the first official pics of the SUV spotted at one of the dealerships. We can guess the car must have been parked for either the CRV sales training or must been a demo car.

From the pics it’s conformed the 2.4 AWD is certainly destined for the Indian market. The New CR-V will be a five seater and will be offered in tow engine options: a 2.0 litre 153bhp iVTEC SOHC petrol engine and a 2.4-liter 184bhp iVTEC DOHC petrol engine. The transmission options include: a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual will be offered. We could expect the later to be offered on the 2.0 litre petrol.

Honda will pack the CR-V the latest technology and features which could give the SSUV some advantage over competition. The lack of diesel engine will still be a concern, considering its competition is crowed with diesel options.

The New CR-V will be assembled in India and we could expect some aggressive pricing from the Japanese car maker. Honda has already updated the Indian website with the New CR-V, and is currently gathering contact details of its prospective buyers.
