Chevrolet Enjoy caught testing again, this time the top model

We had reported that Chevrolet’s MPV, The Enjoy is undergoing testing in India and had shown you the spy pics of the car just two days back (the lower end variant). The Chevrolet Enjoy spotted this time is the top end LT model. The MPV was seen at Pune most probably in the final stages of testing and we suspect it to be undergoing testing for its Air conditioning system in the hot summer.

What’s more clear is that the company will follow the same nomenclature as it does with the rest of its range. So we can expect atleast three variants: PS (base model), LS (middle variant) and LT (top end). For more safety and features the company could also offer the LT option pack.

The tail lamps and the Chevrolet logo were hidden and the front of the car is also covered in black but this doesnt confuse one from identifying it as the Chevrolet Enjoy. The side profile is clearly evident and the MPV seems very spacious with good room for all three rows of passengers.

The Enjoy MPV is expected to be launched with flexible sitting for 7/8 passengers and will have class leading storage space. The 2nd and 3rd row seats can be folded flat or removed altogether to form a flat loading bay.

The Chevrolet Enjoy will be launched in both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.4-litre petrol motor develops 96bhp and the very familiar 1.3 litre Multijet diesel from Fiat which does duty in different cars from Fiat, Maruti and Tata. The diesel engine will get a fixed geometry turbo so we can expect a decent power out of 75 bhp. The Enjoy will be a rear wheel drive.

The Enjoy MPV is actually a Chevrolet-badged Wuling CN-100, part of GM-SAIC’s Chinese portfolio and is restyled at GM’s Bangalore styling studio. High strength and ultra-high strength steel is used in the body and chassis. Fine tuning of car has been done by Lotus engineering department so expect the ride and Handling to good.

The top end LT variant is expected to be loaded and will come with the following features:

  • Dual AC
  • Power steering
  • Remote locking
  • Power windows
  • Music system with USB and AUX-IN
  • Alloy wheels
  • Dual Airbags
  • Safety belts with load limiters
  • ABS
  • Tubeless tyres
  • Alloy wheels
  • Beige interiors
  • Body coloured Bumpers
  • Body coloured ORVM and door handles
  • 3 spoke steering wheel
