Hero Electric has opened its new dealership in Goa in Panjim. Hero Electric, a 100% subsidiary of the Hero Group. The company has been quick in establishing itself as an undisputed leader in the Electric Two-wheeler segment.
The new dealership is located at: Heritage Symphony, Opp. Syndicate Bank, Caranzalem.
The company sells products under two main categories: Low speed models & High speed models.
The scooter models are: Maxi, Optima Plus, Wave DX, Zion and Cruz (Low speed models) while the E-Sprint is the only & High speed model.
Hero Electric also launched the new Photon e-bike model at AUTO Expo, 2012 New Delhi. The Photon e-bike showcased at Auto Expo India 2012 and is expected to be launched in European markets shortly. Photon e-bike will be available in two versions in terms of batteries, i.e. Li-ion & Lead acid. The scooter could see a launch in the Indian market in future.
With rising fuel prices electric scooter sales have seen a steady rise. But the lack of electric charging infrastructure has kept the ownership limited to only a smaller number of users.
The company is also inviting applications for new dealers.
