Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India following up the launch of the CBU range and the new upgraded Activa with a technologically advanced version of their popular Stunner CBF.
The Stunner CBF is a stylish motorcycle that shares its 125cc engine with the Shine. But in keeping with the sporty attitude of the Stunner CBF Honda is giving it the famed Honda PGM-Fi or Programmed- Fuel Injection for that slight edge in performance. FI is bound to help improve the rideability of the Stunner, but it will also improve the top speed to a company-claimed 100km/h and fuel efficiency to 65kml.
The CBF Stunner FI is on sale at Rs 64,630 ex-showroom Delhi – that makes it quite pricey compared to the carburetted CBF. All the improvements are bound to draw more people into the showrooms, but the price tag will ensure that only technoholics will stretch their budgets for India’s second 125cc fuel-injected motorcycle, atleast until the rates come down. The Stunner CBF PGM-FI will be available in showrooms from the first week of June.
Powered with a 125 cc Air-cooled four-stroke self-start engine, the new model will deliver a power of 11.6 bhp@8000 rpm.he New CBF Stunner PGM-FI requires less maintenance because of its viscous air filter and maintenance-free battery. It has CBR1000RR inspired dual tone styling and a sporty half-chain case. Among the other attractive feature of CBF Stunner PGM-FI include: Bank Angle Sensor, Premium 3-D Emblem, Handle Weight and the premium key. It will be available in two stylish colours – CBR Red and CBR Silver Metallic.
Honda is looking forward to expanding the fun biking culture among the youngsters with the launch of CBF Stunner PGM-FI. The company has already entered the fun-biking segment with the introduction of CB1000R and CBR 1000RR Fireblade in the Indian market. The bikes have drawn a good response from the biking enthusiasts. In order to promote and expand fun-biking culture, HMSI has been conducting the ‘Honda 1 Make Race’ motor sports event since last year.
