Hyundai Creta S+ diesel & SX+ Petrol automatic launched in Goa

Hyundai Creta now available in 3 automatic variants.

Hyundai has launched automatic versions of the Creta both in petrol and diesel engine options.

Automatic transmission on the petrol is offered on the top variant 1.6 SX+ only and is priced at Rs. 12.87 lakhs ex-showroom Goa while the new S+ diesel automatic transmission is priced at Rs. 13.58 lakhs.

The Creta is available in three engine options – 1.6 Gamma Dual VTVT, 1.6 U2 CRDi VGT, 1.4 U2 CRDi –tuned for best performance and fuel efficiency. Based on Hyundai Motor’s evolved Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 Design philosophy the SUV is offered in 10 variants.

The 1.6-litre Dual VTVT petrol engine delivers 123 PS and 151 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.4-litre CRDi develops 90 PS and 220 Nm of torque, and also gets a 6-speed manual. The 1.6-litre CRDi VGT though produces 128 PS and 259 Nm of torque, and is available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Hyundai Creta bookings crossing record 1 lakh in March 2016 and the SUV has been one of the best-selling models in its segment.

Hyundai Creta became an instant hit from day 1 since launch and has been able to sell more than 56,000 units in the Indian market. The SUV has received 5 lakh enquiries and won about 26 awards in 8 months of launch.
