Hyundai plans to launch Santa FE in the SUV segment by September – October, this year in India. Hyundai is planning to launch the Santa Fe from couple of years.
Considering the growing SUV market in India especially with the launch of Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai too will try to create the same magic as Toyota Fortuner. Hyundai is targeting a price of around Rs. 20 lakh for the Santa Fe. Hyundai could also bring the Santa Fe through the CKD version to keep costs low.
In India we could expect the 2.2 CRDi with 145Kw@3800 rpm diesel engine or the 2.4 petrol engine.
