Mercedes-Benz launches limited edition of E-Class

German luxury carmaker Mercedes- Benz India on April 8th launched a limited edition of its E- Class in India, priced at Rs. 43,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

“The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is clearly the most sought after luxury car and we have sold over 16,000 units of this car since its India launch in 1996,” Mercedes-Benz India managing director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur said in a statement.

The company would produce only 192 units in this edition, which would come with a three-litre diesel engine.

The Special Edition features 17-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels and LED tail-lights. The plush interiors of the Mercedes E-Class Special Edition are now treated to an exclusive touch with the fine detailing of bird’s eye maple wood trim to enhance that opulent feel. The driver gets a new multi-function wood/leather steering wheel and an all-new instrument cluster design.
