Skoda testing Fabia with new brand identity

Skoda India will launch the new brand identity in the Indian market starting with the launch of the 2013 Fabia hatchback and will slowly percolate to other models. Skoda will launch the new Octavia in the Indian market which will replace the Laura and also launch the face lifted Skoda Superb by end 2013 or early 2014.

The Fabia with new logos and badges was caught testing in Pune and seems like Skoda may soon introduce the same in the Indian market.

So what are the changes?

  • The ‘Skoda’ badge is now lettered independent using the new typeface (font) as compared to integrated in the old logo
  • The new logo is placed on the bonnet and the steering
  • The badges denoting the engines such as ‘HTP’ for petrol & ‘TDI’ for diesel too will get the a new look
