The Vintage Car and Bike Rally has taken off with great enthusiasm at Inox courtyard Panjim Goa.
The day began with the flagging off of the rally from Paryatan Bhavan at 10.30 am by Honourable minister for Tourism Mr. Dillip Pavlaker along with other dignitaries.
The cars and bikes than made their way cruising through the streets of Panjim and went right up to Miramar circle and later made their way back to Inox courtyard where the vehicles are parked presently for public viewing till evening, but the fun doesn’t end just there.
Goa on wheels has organised a drawing competition for school kids and a photography competition for the enthusiastic shutterbugs to try and capture their best shots and win prizes.
Viewers are already enthralled with a whole load of vintage cars and bikes from different brands with some driving all the way here from different parts of India like Nagpur, Bangalore, Pune etc.
Vintage cars dating back to 1970s onwards. Main attraction of the Vintage Bike and Car Rally of the day include the Goa Governor’s Cadillac kept on display besides the Inox theatre. Vintage bikes too are present to attract the biker fans and passionate people can grab their chance to take a look at the vintage scooters and motorcycles from the golden era.
