Hero MotoCorp launches Passion X-Pro, to rival Dream Yuga

Hero MotoCorp launched the fourth new product under the new brand identity Passion X-Pro in the Indian market. The Passion X-Pro was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo and is the third new product launched this year.

The Passion X-Pro comes with an all new 110cc engine and a lot more new features, many of which are a first in its segment. The company has chosen to use the Passion name plate as it signifies power & style. One can choose between five variants with the top end equipped with Disc & cast wheels.

Many feel the Passion X-Pro is basically the Dream Yuga with a Hero badge like the Ignitor which resembles the Stunner to quite a extent. If you are also thinking on the similar lines then once should glance through some of the striking new features:

  • Digital-analog combo meter console with service due indicator
  • Front disc brake option
  • Tubeless tyre option
  • Maintenance free battery
  • Viscous paper pleated Air filter
  • Trapezoidal multi-focal headlamp

The Passion X-Pro is powered by a 110cc engine which delivers 8.7Ps max power @ 7500 rpm 9.36 Nm of Torque.

This X-Pro could be the last product which will carry the Honda DNA. But we still feel Hero MotoCorp has also got access to the 250 mill which does duty on the Honda CBR250R, and this engine could power the next generation Karizma and ZMR.
