Mahindra Navistar trucks roll out MN 25 truck

After unveiling its entire range of high performance trucks at the Auto Expo 2010 earlier this year, Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd. announced the start of production and the price of their first truck offering, the MN 25.

Priced at Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom Pune, BS II version) the MN 25 will be offered for sale in the second quarter of FY-10. Distribution will be through 150 exclusive MNAL dealers, 60-odd M&M LCV dealers and serviced through these and an additional 900 roadside assistance (RSA) centres.

The features of the MN 25 include truck a Maxx Force 7.2-litre engine that gives 210 HP and a torque of 856 Nm.

The company will launch 31-, 40- and 49-tonne trucks as well as tippers over the next few months.
