Maruti Suzuki launched a limited edition of the Swift hatch to celebrate 3 million units worldwide. The Swift Star will be available on t diesel variant which is a surprise considering the long waiting period for this particular model.
The limited edition Swift Star features:
- A double din stereo with Bluetooth
- Two door speakers
- Art leather seat cover
- Body coloured Rear roof spoiler
- Steering wheel cover
- Designer mats
The accessories will be retrofitted at the dealership and the Star edition is most likely to feature on the LDi and VDi variants. Maruti Suzuki is also assuring prompt deliveries of the Swift in some cities and also offering cash discounts upto Rs. 10,000 on select variants.
The Indian auto industry is going through tough times with sagging sales. India’s largest car maker has also been hit by the slowdown and is dolling out huge discounts to attract new customers.
The Swift is the second best performer for Maruti Suzuki and is averaging 17,000 plus units monthly. Maruti Suzukihas been launching limited editions of different models to keep increasing the foot falls at the dealerships.
