Porsche India had launched the Panamera Diesel in India. The new version gets a Porsche-tuned VW Group 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine with common-rail unit and variable geometry turbocharging. It produces 247bhp and peak torque of 551Nm between 1750rpm and 2750rpm.
The same engine also does the duty in the Cayenne diesel but is less powerful.
The engine is mated to a 8 speed gear box and can do 100kph in 6.8sec with a top speed of 240kph.
The car is priced at Rs 1,2315,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)
