Renault Scala may take styling ques from big brother Fluence

Renault will take its game further when they launch the new Sedan which will help the company to further broaden its range. Come Diwali and we could see the Renault Scala on the Indian roads.

If we are to believe Renault will name the sedan based on the Sunny platform to be named Scala, there is a lot possibility it could very much like the Samsung SM3 which is also based on the same platform.

The car could very similar to its big brother Fluence with long scooped up headlights, a trapezoidal grille with the Renault badge right in the centre. At the rear too the looks a very similar to the Fluence with large tailamps.

The name Scala is already used in many other international markets. Renault may go on in India too use the same nameplate. The Renault Scala will share the platform and underpinnings with Nissan Sunny. Expect a lot of similar components on the Scala lifted straight away from the Sunny sedan.

Renualt will initially concentrate on the diesel engine a similar strategy adopted on the Pulse and will launch it with the 1.5 DCi diesel engine. Renault will price the Scala sedan a notch above the Sunny in the Indian market. We hope Renault plays around with the interiors and colours options inside to give the Scala a slightly more premium look.

We hope Renault takes the Scala ahead and launches it with a diesel automatic, the option which is offered only in the Hyundai Verna.
