Renault’s small was caught testing in Chennai by a reader from TeamBHP. The cars badges were masked but it could not us from identifying the car which is the Renault Modus.
Renault will unveil the small car in India at the 2012 Auto Expo with the launch in mid 2012. Th small destined for India is based on the V platform on which the Nissan Micra is based.
So will Modus be the car for India? Ford was also testing the old Fiesta in India on which the Figo is based.
The Modus could be the small car which will have the same engines: a 1.2 petrol and 1.5 dci diesel engine.
