Santa Fe facelift to sport Fluidic look

Hyundai is getting aggressive with the entire line up. After the Sonata, new Verna,i10, i30 & ix45, the Fluidic theme treatment will now be imposed on the Santa Fe SUV.

The new facelifted Santa Fe pics have been spied on the Hyundai-blog. The Santa Fe gets Hyundai’s traditional hexagonal grille quite similar to the upcoming Sonata with an overdo Chrome treatment. The chrome grille will be preferred by some.

The Santa Fe at the front, overall boasts an aggressive look with a new bumper and large fog lamps. At the rear the SUV gets LED tail lamps. Hyundai has been testing the Santa Fe and was recently caught testing by Hyundai’s test drivers in the Article Circle in Scandinavia.

The Santa Fe in India is doing decent numbers. Hyundai launched the automatic variant of the Santa Fe in September 2011. Besides new features such as push button start and smart key have been added. The new supervision cluster enhances clarity of the instrument panel.

The Santa Fe AT is available with 2.2.L CRDi engine, the most powerful engine in its class delivering a maximum power of 197PS/4000 rpm and an impressive torque of 44.5kgm/1800-2500.

The Santa Fe comes fully loaded with various active and passive safety features such as electronic stability program (EPS) and anti-lock braking system (ABS) — with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) to ensure greater driving stability.
