VW Think Blue. Drive Blue theme at Auto Expo 2012

In line with the theme of  Think Blue. Drive Blue. Volkswagen, Europe’s leading passenger car manufacturer will focus on environment friendly, fuel efficient carlines at the 11th Auto Expo scheduled to be held in New Delhi early January next year.

Volkswagen launched the Think Blue. campaign in India earlier this year coinciding with the introduction of its first carline with BlueMotion Technologies – the Passat and will continue to highlight its efficient technologies in 2012 beginning with the country’s biggest automobile show –the Auto Expo.

We can expect a blitzkrieg of cars from the VW stable at the Auto Expo. Starting with the Polo, Vento VW will also display the new Jetta, Passat, Beetle (to be launched) and the new Touareg. We hope Volkswagen also showcase the Tiguan SUV and the new Up small car.

Amidst showcasing carlines that exemplify efficiency and German technology at its best, Volkswagen will showcase the third generation of its most loved carline for decades – the 21st century Beetle.

As a prelude to the Auto Expo, Volkswagen will also kickstart the second phase of the Think Blue. campaign on December 15, 2011 which will spill over to the Motor Show.
