Yamaha India has launched new colour options on the YZF R-15. One can choose amongst the four shades available: Racing Blue, Invincible black, Raring Red & Thundering Green.
The highlight seems to be the new Thundering Green which is now becoming a very popular colour especially on the Fazer and FZ-S.
YZF-R15 version 2.0 is modeled around the R series” DNA of the YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 are equipped with under cowls which function as a diffuser giving the best form for aero-management. These cowls are not for cosmetic appeal enclosing the engine, but forms composed of blade surfaces that actively control airflow.
The YZF-R15 version 2.0 is a new model that has been developed under the concept of a “Graded Up R15. The bike is powered by a 149.8cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine.
Yamaha had launched the 50th Anniversary & Fiery Red R15 editions at the 2012 Auto Expo.
Yamaha is also planning to launch a new 250cc motorcycle which is expected to hit the roads in 2014. We hope Yamaha also considers a touring and a naked variant apart from an R variant which is planned. The company has been posting positive sales, thanks to the new Ray scooter.
