Maruti Suzuki SX4 facelift spied inside out, launch to happen very soon

Maruti Suzuki will give the SX4 sedan a fresh dose of life and plans to launch the facelifted version very soon. The SX4 facelift has been caught numerous times and thanks to our friends at Motorbash who have managed to get some clear pics alongside the current SX4.

The SX4 facelift changes are limited to cosmetic changes only and will be continued to be offered with the 1.6 petrol & 1.3 diesel engines.


So whats new on the outside

  • New chrome grille which sports Suzuki new design language
  • Revised front bumper with new housings for fog lamps
  • New design Alloy wheels
  • Turn indicators on the ORVMs
  • Two new colour options: Serene Blue and Granite Grey

On the inside:

  • The SX4 gets black treatment on the dashboard which was offered when the sedan first made its debut in India
  • New Garmin GPS enabled multimedia system (Note: Garmin Navigation Devices have a tie up with Maruti Genuine Accessories (MGA))
  • Voice command, AUX-In & USB (available on the ZXi and ZDi variants)
  • Electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs
  • Dark brown coloured faux wood panels on the door
  • Chrome door handles

The facelifted SX4 launch is most likely to happen in the first week of April and the prices could be revised. The sedan will be available in petrol, diesel and CNG fuel options.

The new Gen SX4 is still good 2-3 years to make it into the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch the SX4 Crossover which has finally got the green signal.
