Mercedes-Benz launches 2010 M-class in India

Mercedes-Benz, launched two variants of the 2010 M-class in India.

The new sports edition M-Class is priced at Rs. 55 lakh and luxury edition priced at Rs. 60.9 lakh.

Exterior

From the outside, the new generation M-Class presents to the viewer a muscle-packed aspect – and yet fine lines define its dynamic proportions. New 17-inch to 21-inch light-alloy wheels and distinctive wings with brush guard set the tone. The newly-designed radiator grille with chrome trim, the re-worked front apron with sump shield and the headlamps of new design, the distinctive, sweeping exterior mirrors and the darkened tail lamps in the redesigned rear bumper as well as the dual-flow exhaust system make the vehicle’s sporty nature clear at a glance. Optional clear-glass-look tail lamps with LED technology are also available.

Interior

Interior design which deserves the valuation “luxurious”: the materials, too, with their enhanced quality feel and superb workmanship. The steering wheel – equipped as standard with gearshift paddles, by the way – is trimmed in fine leather. The door centre panels are covered as standard (and the dashboard optionally) in high-quality ARTICO man-made leather. Behind their new covers, powerful loudspeakers can be heard, but can hardly be seen. Two-colour leather upholstery is available as an option for the M-Class.
