Chevrolet unveiled the Beat, Camaro, Aveo M300, U- VA, Cruze Automatic, Cruz WTCC, Spark 800 & the Volt at Delhi Auto Expo

Chevrolet Beat

 

Chevrolet’s stall at the Auto Expo has been done up in three themes namely Dream, Performance and Hot Hatch. The Dream section is featuring the Volt, Electric Spark, Spark LPG, and Aveo CNG.The Performance section is featuring the Camaro, WTCC Cruze, Captiva Extreme, and the regular Cruze.The Hot Hatch section is featuring the Beat which was launched yesterday on 4th Jan.

The 1.2-litre  car, Chevrolet Beat will be available in three variants and will be launched in over 150 markets

around the world including those in Europe, other parts of Asia and North America in the coming days. Beat is the next offering from the 300 series after the Cruze.With its best-in-segment design, performance and safety, the Beat is destined to become an industry benchmark and a winner among consumers in India.

Chevrolet Volt

The stall also showcased the Chevrolet Electric Volt which would be in markets by 2011.The car has two modes for the driver to switch between namely Regular and Boost mode. In Boost mode the engine generates more torque. There is no information about the range of the vehicle.

Chevrolet Camaro 

The chances of a near-stampede happening at the Chevrolet are quite high as the manufacturer will be showcasing its 2010 Camaro. The first Camaro rolled out of GM’s factory in 1967 and till its production was stopped in 2002. GM later started production of the fifth generation Camaro in March 2009 while sales started in the next month. 

Also seen at the Chevrolet stall were the Cruze, U-VA, Aveo and Electric Spark.
